Fairfax Station: Cash Registers Stolen from Village Shops

Cash registers were stolen from the Crosspointe Market and Steak ’n Things businesses early Saturday morning, Jan. 14, Fairfax County Police said.

Officers responded to a burglary alarm around 2:02 a.m. at the Village Shops off Silverbrook Road in Fairfax Station, in the 8900 block of Village Shops Drive.

Doors to the businesses had been smashed open and the registers, as well as some additional non-registered money was taken, police spokesperson Officer Megan Hawkins said.

Police did not release the amount of money that was taken.

FCPD said the crimes are under investigation.
